Czech COURSES

A great introduction to the Czech language aimed for those with no previous experience with Czech who need to quickly and effectively gain basic knowledge and skills.

In the course, you will learn the basics such as greetings, numbers, places in the city, members of family and foods and drinks, with most attention given to speaking in everyday situations.

You can recognise familiar words and basic phrases concerning simple topics when people speak slowly. You can introduce yourself and manage everyday situations such as shopping or ordering in restaurant. 

In the course, you will broaden your vocabulary, learn how to use past and future tenses and basic cases, and improve your speaking and understanding in simple conversations.

You can understand the highest frequency vocabulary and engage in a basic conversation. You can read short and simple texts and find information in everyday material such as timetables and menus.

In the course, you will further improve your vocabulary, and practice conversation and listening, so that you are able to independently manage everyday situations. You will be introduced to all cases and know how to use them.

You can understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters. You can express your opinion confidently in all tenses and write longer paragraphs. You can deal with most situations likely to arise in your everyday life or whilst travelling.

The course will help you progress towards being a fully independent user of the Czech language.

You can fully understand everyday conversations and mostly understand discussions of specialized topics. You are able to watch Czech news, and read newspaper and contemporary literary works.

The course will help you perfect your Czech skills by broadening your vocabulary, polishing your grammar and improving your pronunciation.
